18 inch rims?
I was looking to get 17X9.5 torq thust ii's for the rear of my camaro, but because they have to be custom made I may be getting 18's if they are close to the same price. Is there anyone who has 18's in the rear give me back spacing, tire sizes, and any information if they had to pound the inner fender well in to clear the tires? Also the car is lowered with sportline springs. Thanks

i have 17" up front and 18" rears, but i am using a 4th gen rear axle and spacers in the front and i have lowering springs all the way around. i didnt have to do any pounding or anything and everything works fine, so i imagine any 18 wheel should fit fine but is the tire width you should be worry about, mine is 275's and i would go much wider.
I'm running 18x9.5's in the rear 5.5" backspacing with 275/35/18 tires. No fenderwell mods needed and no rubbing issues, even when slammed 2.5-3". If you want pics you can find them in OmnipotentGoku's gallery.
Alot of people might tell you you'll have problems because its 18's, but all you gotta keep in mind is that only the diameter changed, With the right tire the overall package will be the same dimensions as a set of 17's or 16's. What matters is the width and the backspacing, and that info is universal to all wheel setups, dosnt matter what diameter. So if the 16x9.5 fits, a 18x9.5 with the same backspacing and tire would also fit.
