What is better for a t-top car? Drag or Autocross?
Just curious, I want to take my maro to the next level, but I keep wondering if t-tops are going to kill my autocross chances. I would rather do autocross, but drag seems to be cheaper/more popular choice for t-tops.

As a ex autocrosser t-tops are definatly out "if" you want to be competitive nationaly in F stock, or E street prepared.
Also our cars are getting to old to race competetively. The rules for classes have changed so much that the imports have the overwelming advantage in these classes. SCCA has sold out the american cars to the imports to up SCCA membership and increase income thru the membership dues. There are so many imports on the road. That is where the money is and that is where SCCA is going.
I'd definatly set up the car for drag racing. Thats what I'm doing to my autocross 3rd gen right now.

Best thing for t-top cars? Cruising the highway with large-breasted blondes in the passenger seat! (Hope my wife doesn't find this post!!)

My car is set up for drag racing only and I've never had a problem with T-tops. I can't race with them taken out. I don't know about autocross.
