corvette wheels and lug nuts

does anyone knows of where to get lug nuts to fit aftermaket corvette wheels, i think there called "et" lug nuts or is it easier to put in longer studs. the stock lug nuts only grab only 3 threads on the studs right now

i think you'd want lug nuts to fit your stud more than the wheel, unless you have something like Weld uses. try a parts store, speed shop, or even a tire store.

Shouldered tapered seat lugnuts are available, but I wouldn’t use them in the place of a proper length stud. Yes, the shouldered bit is threaded, but it is also quite thin and was never designed to support a load like that, they are there to center the wheel on a lug centric wheel.

Any good speed shop can get them for you, most will probably have them in stock since they are sometimes the only way to get a car home (as a temporary solution) when you get stuck messing with backspacing/spacers… I know MrLugnut and I think gorilla both make them, McGuard does not. Some of the import/tuner companies make them and all the honda’s use the same thread/pitch lugnuts, so you’ll be able to get a set there…
