i got a set of GTA wheels i posted about that im restoring. and i went to do them tonight and the cleaner i bought doenst want to get all teh old brake dust that is welded on tehre off. its been sittin for close to 1 year 2 years. waht can i do? please help asap.

i need these to make my car road ready and im havin surgery within teh next few days and i want this car done so i dotn ahve to worry about it.

 

Are you sure its not the clear coat thats pitted. If thats the case you'll have to strip them.

 

its on the chrome lip....

 

It's not chrome, it's polished with a clear coat on it.

Like Poenix said, if it's stuck in the clearcoat, you will need to strip the clearcoat off, repolish the metal, and optionally respray clear on them..

It's not something you can get done byt his weekend..
