My 88 Camaro needs a complete rebuild of the suspension and steering and I've come up with a setup and would like everyone's opinion on it:

Front end rebuild kit from Spohn, Eibach Sportline Springs,
Edelbrock Lower Control Arms, Edelbrock Adjustable Torque arm and Adjustable panhard bar. Also, Tokico blue shocks and in the future I want to get the SLP ZR1-type wheels and a good set of tires.

How do the Edelbrock parts compare to say, Spohn or Lakewood parts? Is there something else I should add to the list or is this a good setup? I still use this car as my daily driver and plan on it being that way for at least the next 6 months. I just want something that will handle better than factory and don't anticipate using it as a drag car or anything of that nature.

Would KYB AGX shocks and struts be just as good as the Tokico versions? My main motive for wondering about these parts is that I'm about to quit my job at a parts store and I want to take full advantage of my employee discount while I still have it.

I would suggest since you're lowering with the eibach springs that you get lower control arm relocation brackets, it really helps in reducing wheel hop since your control arm angle will now be off from the springs. Spohn sells the weld in type and BMR sells a pair you don't need to weld they work just as well. Also I would recommend all adjustable parts ie. panhard bad and control arms, beacause it gives you play down the road.
I have almost all spohn products under my car and couldn't be happier.
You should also replace all bushing with polyurethane one's and make sure you put some synthetic lube on them to prevent squeaking.
I went with the KYB GR-2 shocks because the price was right and they actually perform very well.
I just did my whole suspension last winter and couldn't be happier with my setup. Thanks to all the guys on TGO!!!

I also plan on getting polyurethane bushings and I plan on getting the adjustable panhard bar and adjustable torque arm for just the reason you mentioned. Energy Suspension makes a bushing kit for around $100, right?
