Problems with eibach pro kit/ jegster torque arm/and 3" driveshaft.
Hopefully this will save someone some headaches..
Right now I am running pro kit springs with the rubber isolators removed. Everything was great until I installed a 3" ALUMINUM DRIVESHAT well it bottomed out in the tunnel after I started driving it, the larger driveshaft was actually bottoming out on the ebrake brackets in the top of the tunnel. Lucky I caught it before it chewed a groove all the way through!
I'm also going to say that the jegster torque arm will NOT work with pro kit spring equipped cars, isolators removed, and running a 3" driveshaft. Well at least it will not WITHOUT cutting/ fabbing the floor and tunnel of the vehicle. That's what I ended up doing and tied the torque arm mount into the subframes as well. I expected to run into a few problems, just not so much, it was like the car fighting me every step of the way. The driveshaft ended up needing a new tube sent back to the factory, expensive mistake. I can finally say all is good now after the tunnel mods and repaired shaft back in the car.
A stock size driveshaft would probably work without any of the problems listed above.
