what rear suspension for a 9 sec car?

I am building a high 9 sec car, and wondering what rear suspension I should run. It needs to be a bolt in suspension so I can run in multiple classes. I bought the CE bolt in ladder bars, but they arent adjustable, so I dont think they will work. They also eliminate the torque arm, so I would have no way of adjusting pinion angle. Thanks in advance for any help

Just from what I've learned these past 2 years:

You could stick with the factory design no problem as these cars suspension design work very well. If it were me-as I will be in your position shortly-I will keep everything in my sig with a few modifications:

coil over shock conversion so you can optimize compression/rebound on the shocks as well as optimize spring weight/setting

Long torque arm-such as Spohn or other design-but it needs to be longer so it put more power into the chasis instead of overloading the tires if you are sticking with small tire and not tubbing. then just get as tall a tire as you can fit 30"x9" should fit with only minor inner fender banging and then gear diff accordingly

10.90 street car is running 10.0x with factory set-up and stock torque arm if that gives you any indication of how well the factory design performs.

My car has went 9.20 with a 1.33 60' on a 275/60 drag radial. I have a spohn torque arm, LCAs, LCA relocation brackets and rear sway bar. I also run a comp engineering panhard bar ans strange shocks.

That’s a nice 60 for not a lot of drag radial.

Who’s drag radial was it? What pivot point did you end up using in the brackets? Stock sway bar and springs?

M/T drag radial. I used the lower hole in the brackets. The springs are stock and the sway bar is spohn's drag sway bar.
