Spohn Torque Arm vs. Stock arm

I am looking to get a spohn torque arm for my 91 firebird gn hybird but I wanted to see some actual numbers from people who used the stock one to the spohn one. Any personal experience at the track? 60ft times for stock vs. spohn, etc... Thanks.

i am running a Spohn T56 torque arm in my 91z28 and it is by far a lot better then the stock one. it will not bend or twist under hard acceleration and you can choose to get an adjustable one for rear pinion angle adjustments.

Do you have any 60ft. times or 1/4 mile to compare to stock?

sorry man no times from track. i dont even have any road time on it either. I dont think you can take one persons results and expect the same on your car with stuff like this. There is a lot of variables that come into play with getting a car to hook off the line. every car is different and every driver is different so if I gained 3 tenths on my 60 foot time, dont expect that everyone who adds this torque arm will also gain the same amount. Some may not even gain anything at all. It all depends on the total suspension package on that particular car.

10.90 street car is still using the stock torque arm and run bottom 1.4x 60's and car repeats very well on the track, I woul've never believed it, but proof is in the pudd'n so to speak.

IHI, you’re listing the jegster arm in your sig… is that the same car?

On the stock TA what are you using for a front pivot? Is this the car with the wolf sway bar?

sorry, don't usually hang out on the drag racing forum and it seems that this board is so provincial, that if you don’t hang out in cerine forums you never “meet” certine people. I thought that by “10.90 street car” you were referring to one of your cars, possibly a different one then in your sig.
