bottoming out
so my car bottoms out in the back from time to time, is this just cause the shocks need replaced or could it be weak rear springs. I have had many other 3rd gens and never had this problem so.....
Too much travel causing you to bottom out is usually the result of worn dampeners, so in this case the rear shocks. Its also possible its the spring, but only if its an aftermarket spring that has a low ride height and rates that are too soft for the resulting ride height.
