Hey , I need to know if wheels and tires off a 4th gen Camaro will work on my 84 Z28. They are the 1998 and later 10 spoke type. 16 inch wheel. Tires are 245 /50 /16. If anyone knows please advise on how and what I would need to do? ALL advice and comments are welcome being this is not an area I am to familar with. Thanks to all who respond in advance!

 

You'll need 2" spacers. Try reading this Billet Wheel Adapter FAQ.

Most people would pass on 16" 4th Gen wheels since they are only 16" and require spacers. It's cheaper to find a set of 3rd Gen Z28 16" rims to use.

 

Yes, good point. It just so happens I found someone with a near perfect set of SS wheels and 80%(tread) tires complete with lugs and caps for $200 bucks . I Gotta try them out for that price.

 

The Camaro SS wheels are 17".

$200 with usable tires is an unbelievable price.
