How strong are wheel spacers?

Wheel spacers aren't a problem, lug bolts are. You can't put like a half in. spacer behind the rim and expect the lug nuts to grab as many threads. You'll need longer stronger lug bolts.

Not meaning to hijack a thread...but can you put longer studs into the front floating rotors if you are wanting to use spacers? I know you can in the back.

Just in case you didn't know, the 2" thick spacers everyone talks about on here are a "bolt on" design and are as strong as stock since the lugs are loaded just like a regular wheel is. Like mentioned here anything more than a 1/4" slip on spacer is asking for trouble.
