wheel back spacing

hello!
i am upgrading to 17" wheels.planning to purchase torque thrust 2's front 17x8 w/255/40/17,rear 17x91/2 w/275/40/17 tires.i have a 10 bolt out of a 87 iroc(disc brakes)suspension is stock,but i do plan on dropping suspension1"-1 3/4".does any one know correct backspacings for wheels of this size?

I could be wrong but i believe 5.5" b.s. is the deepest you can fit without too many mods. At least thats iswhat i am running.

i just bought boyd smothies and i got 17x8 in fornt with 4.5 backspacing and 17x10 in the back with 5.75 backspacing. i will post pics of them as soon as the tires get put on. that should be today or monday.
