255/60/15 Front and Back ???

I currently have 215/65/15 on my stock 91 RS 15 inch rims. I want a wider tire, and I want to be able to rotate them (same size front and back). I know the 255/60/15 will fit and that rubbing will happen at full lock steering, but I'm wondering if anybody out there has done 255s front and back, so that they can be rotated.

PS. Pics would aslo be helpful!

Thanks.

I think 245's were stock equipment on alot of 3rd gens, I have also heard that 275's will fit with out any real rubbing issues. My guess is that 255's should fit no problem.

I just put on 235/60 in the front and 255/60 on the back... The fronts are very close to rubbing, and the backs are fine. Not sure a 255 would fit well in the front.

If I get 235 up front, then I'm getting 235 in the rear. I want to match them so I can rotate. I'm in college and I don't have the doh to go through sets of tires.
Thanks for the input.

Bens3rdGen - Has 255 all around (in my tire setup question post)... So maybe I'm missing something...

i have 255/50/16's all the way around with no trouble at all so on a 15"rim you should be fine....

I dont think 255s will look good on the front with 15X7 rims. I have 235//60/15s on the front and 245/60/15s on the rear, heres a pic:

I love them on the rear, but they would be too big on the front, they are taller than stock too. 255/60/15s would be even taller. Just my opinion, but I think you'd be very happy with 235/60/15s all around.
