wheel spacer question

i have the factory 85-87 irocs on my car. i love the wheels but hate the way they sit inside the fender lip in the back. ive heard of people geetin front rims for the rear but i dont wanna buy two rims and then polish them to match. ive also heard that a 4th gen rear will push them out more. however, i just built a rear end so i dont wanna get a 4th gen. my question is can i use spacers to push them out how i want them. also, if i can use spacers what size am i going to need. id ideally like to get the wheels to sit flush with the outer fender lip. any help you guys could give me would be great. i tried searching but i only found info on the factory thin spacers. o yea and i have drums on the back if that makes any difference.

Get some 3/16" spacers. Some cars came with them from the factory. They'll push the wheels out just enough.
