Important...quick question.
If a stock compressed height of a front spring is say 11" and the actual compressed spring height is 10"...would this mean there is 1" of net lowering in the front?
I figure if I know what the front of my car weights (I calculated it to be just about 1744 lbs) and I know the spring rate and the stock compressed height and the free spring height, then I can calculate the total net amount of lowering or raising.
Total height difference= (free spring height- (weight of front of vehicle / spring rate)) - Stock compressed height
Does this equation work out??
