which grease should I use?

Im looking for grease for my new polyurethane bushings but not sure wheather to buy some from Spohn or just go to my local hardware store and buy some synthetic silicone based with teflon grease. I did some research and read that it shouldn't have graphite. Also that Lithium grease should work fine is this true?

I use the silicone grease for installation. But have found that it quickly goes away. What I now use is synthetic oil. I purchased a qt of the heaviest Mobil 1 (15-50W?). Put it in a small oil pump can and place a couple of drops at each bushing.

What I mean by at each bushing, is where the bushing ends are. The oil wicks in and the squeaks are gone. Do not use a gear lube. The smell will drive your girl friend(s) away (gear lube has sulfur in it). Use motor oil.

RBob.

I use that regular red colored grease *shrugs* looks like it's doing it's job, however I've never heard of anyone using oil. BUT it makes sense, that way it'll go in between the bushings in the end link assemblies.

Good one, RBob, something I'll try, lot easier than loosening up the end links and disassemble and grease.
