Coil Spring Isolators?

I'm going to change my springs this weekend but don't know anything about the spring isolator. I read some where that they lift the car some what which I don't want. Do I have to put them on? If so can I get them at my local auto store?

Should already be in the car now. They are on the top of the spring, might fall out when you pull the old springs. The rears are thicker than the fronts, fronts are little more than a thin piece of rubber.

The rear isolators may lift the car (I've read the replacements are for fourthgen cars), the fronts won't.

Or you can do what I did and toss the thick isolators and push a 12" length of heater hose onto the top coil of the spring. It'll lower the rear of the car about an inch.
