So yea, now its time to do that. i got plenty of power and the only thing interesting i found under the car was some helper springs wrapped around the rear shocks, and sensatrac shocks up front. everything else looks old and dirty. where should i go first. i was thinking sfc, lca rb, and phb. do you guys think this will be enough? im no millionaire here either, and handling isnt a big deal to me. i just wanna be able to get a decent amount of traction and protect my chassis a little. thanks a lot...and heres a pic of my stance for reference.

keep in mind i am on a slight (i mean SLIGHT) downhill, so the stance is a little exaggerated, but thats pretty much how it looks on flat ground too.

What do you want to know? How to get better traction? Hows ur traction now? how do you know? Good place to start is on the 1/4...get a 60' time and come back to us. You need to learn about LCA angle geometry before you go out trying to improve ur traction with the brackets.

I saw ur shock helper things i dunno anything about them but how does your car do over bumps? Also you have front struts not shocks. Shocks/Struts that are in good condition is a lot of help on how your weight will transfer off the line thus your traction. After that id make sure ur bushings are in good shape. Which i doubt they are if they are original. New polyurethane bushings thoughout will help you greatly.

Set a starting point and then determine what you would like to see.

SFCs are a MUST, especally with a car that has power...you dont want to twist ur frame.

Good luck.

first i wanna make sure everything is safe. and while im at it i wanna get a better grip. i can spin my big tires loose by just slamming the gas (auto) going like 15-20 mph, and they wont break free until about 3 seconds or if i let go of the gas. from a dead stop ill spin till i let off the gas. of course i wouldnt just immidiately put the pedal to the floor if i was racing, but it would be nice to know that i could get closer to that.

Get rid of the Modifier radials and get sticky tires. Put on regular rear shocks. You're pretty vauge on what you want. Most cars with decent HP wont hook on street radials very well anyway, no matter what susp pieces you put on the car. Heck, my 91 Z28 stock with michelin pilot sports would spin all the way through 1st and a good 30 feet in 2nd on the steet... and it only ran 13.90's.
