Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
¿Calculate? There's no real way to "calculate" that.

Easier to just measure it.

Use a set of open-end wrenches, see which one fits; or a crescent wrench and a ruler.

Go to a parts house and ask them the same question

They'll give you a small ribbon with numbers on it

Simply wrap it around the bar and line up 0 and whatever number is there and thats your size

Edit- Wow you've got the exact same car as I do... well v6 but w/e still looks good

Gee guys,
Just go to Tool Zone or Harbor Freight or somewhere, and get a plastic calibier (sorry, spelling is off) tool for just a couple of bucks.
Then, throw it in your tool box that you take to the junk yards.
They are easy to read.
That's what I did.

go back to middle school where you first learned pi, the circumference, divided by pi(3.14) will give you the diameter.
