Double check my offset numbers
Before you scream search, I've been doing that for an hour
I'm ordering some 18x9.5" wheels and need to double check I'm getting the right spacer. I called skulte today, and they were a tremendous help and recommended a 2" spacer for a +58mm offset wheel. The wheels however I'm ordering are +38mm offset.
So the math I've tried is 10.5/2 = 5.25+38mm = 6.75" backspacing. To get back to the right spec I need 1.25" spacers right? This will get me back to 5.5" backspace all the way around. The reason I used 10.5 above is because the one of the articles I read said wheels measure about an inch wider then they really are which is true. Just making sure that I order the right stuff.
Also since skulte recommended a 2" spacer for a +58, then a +38 (20mm difference is .75") would be 2" - .75" = 1.25"
Thanks
