Cut springs to lower ?????
Hi all
yesterday i found the surprise that one of my rear springs broke at the last
circle on top...so i was thinkin...what if i cut the four springs at the same part....so the car will sit lower...or is this a bad idea ?

as an additional problem the part of the body where the top of the rear shock is attached broke and i have to repair that too!

Cut'em. Done it on past 3rd gens, and doing it again myself tomorrow.
But, how far down did it break? And why?
I wouldn't go past 1 full coil,

Are you saying, your shocks stay depressed, when you pull them?
If so, they're shot. Get new shocks.
