you have got to be kidding me...
Ok try this one...I just had some work done to my Camaro which consisted of having a TCI Shift Kit installed and Spohn Subframes Welded in. From what I gather it should be about 150-250$ to have the subframe connectors welded in which translates to 2-3 hours of work. When I went down to put give the shop some money they had my bill totaled out and it came to $1200!!!! Mind you I had previously bought these parts. They said it took them 4 hours for the shift kit which is a bit unreasonable but i can let it slide...and the best part is them telling me it took 10...yes TEN hours to install the subframe connectors!!!! Please tell me I am not the only one who thinks this is completely asanine and this guy is screwing me!!!!

Unless you happened to get a written quote on the labor you might just be on the short end of the stick.

yeah...looks that way...definatly getting screwed. it didn't even cost that much for a local shop here to cut out an old quarter pannel and weld in the new one! and not just the skin, the whole quarter pannel

Your getting hosed.
2-4 hours on the shift kit would be acceptable depending on what kit u used.
Subframe connector time is variable and sometimes requires dropping the exhaust depending on the connecors used.
Still, it shouldnt have been 10 hrs for subframe conenctors.

Seriously, with prepping the subframe and the connector surfaces it should take a maximum of 4 hours for even the most retarded amatuer to install them with the correct basic tools.

Anyways thank you for the support guys!

Glad you took a stand man. Good to hear someone is setting those a$$holes strait. Maybe if you have them do work next time they will think twice about bending you over and working their driveshaft
