steering slack - noob to suspension
My steering is starting to take on a little more slack than I am comfortable with, especially at highway speeds. The front suspension has always been a bit of a dark area for me, so when I took a look under there, I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. I found some fairly worn bushings and a fluid leak in the steering box vicinity. If I want to tighten up the steering to where the car actually turns when I move the wheel, should I just replace all the bushings I can find and fix the leak, or is there something specific I should be looking for? How much would a Wonderbar help my situation? The car is an '85 TA with a factory (front) WS6 suspension.
Thanks for any help y'all can give.

You need to find out where the slack is. You can check for a bad tie rod, pitman arm, idler arm by having someone move the steering wheel back and forth while you look under the car with a light. There should not be any slack in those parts. The joints should all be solid. If any of these parts were worn out, it could also lead to a bad alignment and worn tires.
If all of these parts are tight, the slack would most likely be in the steering gearbox or column.
