86 Z28 HAVE REAR SHOCKS?
This may be dumb but all I saw were springs at a quick, I don't wanna get wet cause it's raining here glance. Is that the case? Did I miss the shocks?

Well, it did at one time, anyway.... 
They're easier to see than the springs actually. The bottom ofthem attaches to the rear end just outboard of the spring perches.

someone probably bagged the crap out of it and just took the shocks out when they started pounding.
Without shocks it could make for a very very loose rear end in any sort of bumps!

I'm shocked!,
I found the shocks, they were hiding pretty good in bad lighting but they are under there. It's hard to get under the ground effects!
