Auto parts stores house brand quality.

how do the quality of say BumperToBumper Parts master parts measure up to say Oreilly/NAPA/advance/AutoZone house brands?

I know that none of them will come near MOOG quality i just need to replace some of the steering components so that i can get an alighment(my 40,000 mile tires are half gone after 5,000 miles).

I have talked to people local to me and they all agree that i should stay as far as possible from oreillys cause they supposedly use plastic instead of brass for the bushings. So which would give me the best bang for the buck so to speak? I wont have any problem with changeing these in a year or two cause i plan on changeing them out for premium parts in the future(I dont have much $$$)

I am looking at the PM parts cause they i have not heard anything bad about them plus they are a LOT cheeper than the rest.

P.S. where the heck is this on our cars? it shows up on all of the sites i have visited but i dont remember seeing it on my car. Mabe im blind.

Look at the pic of it thats not what its supposed to be. i would have chocked it up to a picture being switched around but Oreillys show it to the same type of bar.

hey, ive never posted here before but i thought id let u know, oreillys house brand suspension (auto drive) is made by moog and has the same lifetime warranty. moog ur pretty much paying for licensing for that nascar logo on the box, ive seen very few slight differences between the 2 and i sell them both all day long

What they said.

Find out who actually makes the parts and go from there.

U will pay more for the Moog, but it is nicer and will last longer too.

later

I buy everything from O'Reilly's if I can.

Why?

It has lifetime warranty! If it breaks, guess what? I don't have to fork up the cash again for what I already paid once for...

Now, if you are low on cash, get some from the auto salvage yard

Seriously though, O'Reilly's is awesome!
