Springs for a V-6 car

I need some springs for my TTA and not sure which ones to get for a V-6 car. What springs are others using with a 6 cyl engine? Do the ones for the V8 work? I was thinking the would not because of the weight difference? Any input would be great. Thanks, Jason

V8 spring are stiffer because of the extra weight. I left the v6 springs in my car when i put the 305 in it and the front is acturaly higher than it was with the v6 because of all the weight i took out of the car.

Thats what I'm afraid of. If I put the V-8 springs in the car will sit higher. I want it no more than about 1" or so drop and I don't want it to increase the height. I also have a fiberglass ram air hood on the car so there's even less weight up front. Some one out there has springs for a v6.

Your car probably won't be effected as much due to the weight of the turbo, turbo plumbing, and the heat exchanger.

TTA's are nice. I have gone through a bit lowering my T/A. I had the suspension of a 88 GTA on my 84. I have had the best luck with Eibach. They have two spring kits, I have the lesser of the two. I have a gap of 1 1/2" between the top of my tire and the wheel opening, front and rear. The ride quality actually improved. the weight difference between V6 Tubo and V8 shouldn't matter much with these springs.
