Iroc sway bar diameter?

Iroc sway bar diameter?

Well in recent travels I ended up picking up a decent 89 iroc parts car. I plan on kicking most of the suspension over my driver car to replace my worn Z28's suspension. I noticed the front sway bar is quite abit larger then my stock item and I was wanting to replace the bushing with poly units from spohn. I did a few searchs on here, however none seem to provide me with the particular info regarding what the diameter of the stock bar is. So what is the stock diameter so I can get these beasts on the car ASAP?

Probably a 34 or perhaps a hollow 36. See if you can find a small drain hole near the end link. If so, I'd say 36, though a hollow 34 was manufactured as well. To make sure what you have, put a cresent wrench on the bar in several places, then measure the distance between the jaws.

there is a 34, 35 , 36 . Was it just a coin they flipped on which cars got what ? I think my IROC has the 35 mm.

To my knowledge, GM never made a 35--at least not one that equipped a Camaro.

Perhaps, I should have said thirdgen Camaro (I have no idea about fourthgen cars).
