(I've read the stickies and have followed the reviews on the A-arm bushings for a while now, but would like to know if there ever was an 1LE version of bushing and what is the best ball joint to get.)

I'm looking at replacing the bushings and the ball joint on a new pair of A-arms.

I've read good and bad on the polys, not sure if there is a 1LE version or a better material from the dealer. I know about Global West, but I'm not sure if I want to put $130 into bushings right now.

I'm thinking stock over polys, but would like to know if there is a part number for a 1LE type if there is one.

I'm thinking Moog or Dealer for the balljoint.

Any experience or advice on the bushings and/or ball joints for this? Any alternatives?

moog balljoint would be what the dealer would give you i'd think. I'd just get it from a parts store, it'll be a TRW/Moog, and cheaper than the stealership. Use a poly boot if you want something pretty.

a-arm bushings - i'd definately go poly there. Tighter feel, etc. Although I'm pretty sure there is a higher durometer 1LE style bushing for it, call up the dealership and bug them for a part# (and price and availability)...

 

I know that a higher durometer bushing was made for the lower control arms, but I'm unsure about the front. Perhaps you can locate what you want in the following link:

There was a 1LE piece, but you could just use an aftermarket urethane one.
