new coil springs, will it make difference?

no, not the lowering springs,
but the stock height ones.

i am thinking of getting new A-arm bushings,
new shock and struts and new springs all around.

but i would like to know if new springs effect much of stiffness
or rigidness?
if it only fixes the height of the car and nothing else
i might spend the money somewhere else.. so

I'd appreciate any input, thanks

Why not get a set of Eibach Prolines ? They WILL lower a stock about 1" BUT if the stock ones are worn it might end up at the same ride height, AND...

They will greatly improve your handling

i wish not to lower my car caz i personally hate my air dam buttoming out lol

plus i wish not to buy extra parts such as relocation bracket for lowering purpose either..

i think the same as you, dont want to lower the car because i like my new air dam and dont want to rip it off. if your old springs are shot and sagging the ride will be soft and bouncy, with new springs it should be firmer. if your going to chance the a arm bushings, might as well do ball joints as too.

it'll definately help you.
I wouldn't get the V-6 replacement ones, get the IROC replacement springs, it'll be stiffer and give more of a sports car handling. well, as much as you can get with a V-6 hahaha

It would depend on what type of spring you install. Spring height controls the ride height of the car, spring rates affect how the springs will perform/ride. There are two general types of springs as far as spring rates go, linear springs which have a static spring rate, and progressive springs which have a dynamic spring rate (range of rates). So a really soft linear rate would make the ride soft and mushy, a really stiff linear rate would make the ride hard and firm. Progressive rate springs are a compromise between the two, softer rates until the spring compresses, then the rates go higher.

Our cars are old, if the springs are original then its possible they are worn. In that scenario replacing them with stock replacements would make a difference as you asked. But even if they were in perfect condition, replacing them with different springs with different rates would also make a difference as you asked. I think it all comes down to what you want. What type of application you're going for and how happy you are with the car right now. Shocks and Struts are just as important, if not more important than the springs, they also have alot to do with how the car handles/rides. The key to remember is that they should be matched.

thx for the input guys.

my goal is to get a firm, but not too stiff where I feel every rock on the ground as I don't really race(yeah, v6) and its my daily driver.

I want best comfort, and best stability,
maybe progressive rate will do?

most probably any type i buy, it'll turn out good
since mine should be really worn..

my ball joints are already new,
should have done a-arm bushing at the same time
if I knew.. but bjoint was done when I didnt know anythin bout cars so oh well
