What size low pro tires to get?

I was driving my 92 camaro today and heard that familiar thump thump thump coming off the rear right. Pulled off the highway expecting the worst and found that some of the tread came off my goodrich (no body damage yay!). Tire was still inflated and everything. It surprised me, these tires looked brand new (still has almost every single nipple on em). Anyways, contacted the guy I bought it from and he said he didnt think they were under any warranty.

My problem is, these are some wide american racing rims and my front wheels are too big (they rub slightly in large dips). So Im going to replace the two front tires to be lower profile and swap my fronts to my rears to take care of the flat. My current front+rear tire size is P235/60s R15. What size front tire should I get to fit correctly? How big of a size can I use (figuring lower pro means a higher cost). Thanks!!!

Some 235 50 r15s would solve your problem.
