Ok...so i got new ball joints in and got the new spindles on and the new koni struts.. I am having a difficult time installing the tie rod ends. They slide into the knuckle easily, but bind up when tightening the castle nut.

I know there is a special tool to press the tie rod ends out but I just used a rubber mallet. The threads are intact.

Oh...what a labor of love.

Any advice?

 

never mind...i chased the threads after giving it all a good cleaning....got it.
