My next thing on the to do list is get some traction out of this thing. IM ready to start enjoying the car again.

My car has stock springs, but if i look at the control arms. They are higher at the axle then the body mount. This is bad for traction right?

After i get the rear rims widened to 9" im getting some drag radials. Do you think this along with the control arms will help me hook up at the track?

What tire would be good for the track and weekend drives? 255/50/16 BFG drag radials?

This thing will light the tires at 40 miles an hour. Fun to impress the friends and family. But not so good for et.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

oopps just noticed the sticky.....

 

also, you don't need wider wheels for 255/60's, they're actually reccomended to be on 8" wheels. - No one make anything wider than a 255 for 16's(other than truck tires) so a wider wheel would be a waste of money.

after reading the sticky, I'll assume you'll be getting the brackets soon.
