anyone got 19 inch rims on?

Hi

I have searched the forum but only found information on 18's - i am thinking of putting 19 inch rims on my 89 Camaro RS but im not sure on what the correct tyre and rim sizes should be. I obviously want to avoid scraping and other clearance issues. Rims are here:

in black or in chrome

My guess would be a 19x8 on a 255x35x19 tyre??

The current wheels are the original 215x65x15 but the speedo tends to run fast (eg shows 60kph when its really doing 55) so i was wondering whether it'd be better going a wheel and tyre combo with a slightly larger rolling diameter, such as 245x40x19?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

John

19" might be bit too big. A good set up would be 18 x 10 on the rear with a 6" back space and 295 35 18 and 18 x 8 on the front with a 4.75" back space with 245 40 18 tires. This combination works quite well.
