What size wheel spacers do i need?

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27
What size wheel spacers do i need?
I'm planning on getting som 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear ZO6 wheels for my 89 Formula. What spacers can i get away with front and back? i've had people tell me 2-2.5 inch up front, and 1.25-2.0 inch out back. Please help me! Thanks alot, Chris.
