Stock front suspension rebuild
I drive a '90 Iroc Convertible and am looking to rebuild the front end. Nothing spectacular or high performance. I want to stick with more or less stock or slightly better than stock parts. Poly/graphite bushings and lower ball joints are certainly on my list at this point. The car is not my daily driver, so I have all the time in the world to do this. My only concerns are as follows:
1)Getting everything replaced that needs to be while disassembled (any recommendations of stuff I may be missing)
2)Preferably, I'd like a simple kit if available (any recommendations)
I've looked at a few other threads, but nothing that lays it out in a simple kit or handful of items. Any ideas or suggestions or 'am I dreaming' of a simple kit
?

What you'll find in total kits is that they will probably have some stuff you won't need, stuff you could replace with better stuff, or missing parts you want to swap out while you're in there. For example, a complete kit may come with new LCA bushings but you'll probably want poly in there, so you'll need those too. I could go on but I'm sure others will chime in and give their opinion as well. I pieced mine together and am glad I did it that way. I managed to get some parts from Ebay and here in the classifieds for less than new so check there for parts as well.
Here's what I did and I couldn't be happier, although I would have spent the cash and went with Bilstein shocks and struts. I used parts from Energy Suspension, Moog, Hotchkis, BMR, KYB, and more I think:

Parts you may not have thought of yet are the motor mounts, sway bar end links and bushings, tie rod sleeves, and transmission mount. Always try to go better than stock but build for purpose.
Good luck.
