Summit sfc??????
I bought a set of sfc from a friend and he got from summit i believe they are summit brand and they are weld in and i have a problem with them hitting my dual cats i looked on the summit site and they dont say if you have to make any mods or not i was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and if so what did you do?????
Yes, anytime you buy somthing aftermarket, you can expect to modify it. I'm not sure exactly how yours look, but, I had to "notch", and "box" my Jegs connectors when I had my old dual cat set up. The problem was the emission tubes, but, not the cat itself.

I have heard from others that they had problems with the air tubes and not the cat but mine is hitting the pipe's that replaced the cats,i got the headers,y-pipe and cat back off a parts car and the guy modded the y-pipe to fit the headers and i think he made the whole thing sit to low i was planning on pulling off my hooker exhaust and the replacement pipes where the cats used to be and making a borla type exhaust and in the process i would get the exhaust up alittle higher thanks for the fed back
