NEED HELP ON BEST WHEEL AND TIRE SIZE!
Hi Im trying to figure out the best back spacing on my 85 camaro. i am wanting to run a 15x8 inch weld wheel on the back and i wanna get the best looking combo. and i wanna hav a nice size tire on the back too. With out it rubbing or sticking out of the fender well. If anyone could tell me the best amount of back spacing and the best tire size to run it would really mean alot. thanks, Adam

5.5" back spacing will fit a 17x9.5 properly. Having gone with 17x9.5's I sometimes wish I went 18x9.5's instead but I am happy with what I got.

255/60 or 275/60 is sexy.

Yep… they will fit under a lowered car with the right offset… those 2nd gen wheels have 0 offset and they stick out a little, ½” offset in like stock 15” rims fits better.
255/60’s fit with either offset even with the car lowered _a lot_ (more then 2”), 275/60’s I rub a little on front of the inner fender (just barely enough that you will see where it rubs off the undercoat, but not enough to leave a mark on the tire. This is the spot that people talk about hammering with larger tires, just whack it a couple of times with a hammer and it’s fine. On 0 offset rims like in the pic I believe that you’ll have to roll the fender lips to prevent it from hitting with that tall a tire and shorter then stock ride height.
