Wheel adapters for 4th gen wheels

Question about using wheel adapters. FAQ said to use 2.5 inch spacers for
4th gen wheels. Is this for all 4 or fronts only? After reading some other posts it seems some people use other sizes then the 2.5 inch.

So if i am just using 1999 camaro ss wheels will the 2.5 inch spacers allow the wheel to sit flush with the fender and not stick out at all?

Transmission: Sometimes

I don't know where 2½" came from.

They actually need to be 1¾" for stock 4th gen wheels. That being about the difference in the rear end length on each side.

Other wheels (Vette, aftermarket, etc.) may need other thicknesses, especially if theyr'e different wdith from the stock 4th gen ones.

Thanks for the reply. Is that 1 3/4 for all 4 corners or just fronts?
