Whats better to put the adjuster on the end or in the middle of the PH bar when...

I am trying to help a guy . He wants toput the adjuster on the end of the bar for an adjustable PH bar. I seen pics on here where they snapped there. So some new desgins have it in the middle . He disagree's and says thats the weak point . I am just trying to give him a heads up , as he is planning on sellnig these to others .

Any help ?

Depends on the type of stress you're talking about where its stronger and where its weaker. I'd say it doesnt matter, probably the adjuster and threads are stronger than the bar/tubing so its going to fail where the adjuster ends if its going to fail and regardless of where you put it. I'd put it in a location that makes it easiest to adjust.
