Problems getting center cap into new wheel.
I'm having problems getting the center caps into my new wheels, they have an o-ring around them and you push them in from the outside. I tried using warm water on the seal and that makes it possible to at least get it in there, but part of the seal comes out of the grove in the center cap. What kind of lube can I use that won't damage the painted wheel but won't let the cap come back out to easily? Here's a picture of the cap:

You could try a light coat of vasoline on the o-ring to make it more compliant. Also a light coating of cooking oil will work.

are you talking about the front caps? i have centerline daggers with the same hub and they fit good and tight on the rear but i had to file out the inside of the cap to get them to fit on the fronts. they hit the hub on the brake rotor and thus do not go on all the way. you can do it with a file or a die grinder.
