There are a few companies (hotchkis, herb adams) that make a 1" rear bar which is bigger than the 24mm. As for the front remember it is tubular (hollow) some companies make a smaller bar but they are solid. Hotchkis front bar is solid and 1 7/16".

Don't go stiff just to be going stiff. I'd look into the shocks/struts and springs before I went to larger bars. I've done alot of research, and I've found that a 36/21solid or 22 hollow works well. I have a 25.5mm rear bar on my car and it's limiting the car on turn exits under power. I plan to go smaller.

What effect does the larger rear sway bar cause. I was thinking about the Spohn 1" rear bar to compliment my Bilsteins Sports. I still have the factory ws6 springs though but plan on Eibachs in the more distant future unless used ones can be found.

The body doesn't want to shift weight to the outside tire when going through a turn. This causes the rear to want to spin if I apply power when exiting the turn. I was told that this was likely caused by the large rear bar by Sam Strano and several others. Makes sense, because the sway bars limit body roll and the body has to roll (some) to shift transfer weight more effectively. I plan to get either a 21mm solid or a 22mm hollow and see how this feels on the car. Not sure when I am getting it, but I'll check back and let you know how it does.

Do you think the stiffer Eibach Pro-kit in your RS might be adding to the less body roll as well. If anything id probally get the Sportlines which would have a lil more slop in them due to lower springs rates. Perhap it might be dead on with. Hey i have a stock 24mm WS6 bar on the GTA now if ya wanna to a tradesy?

I'm sure it makes some difference, but I'm not really sure how much. While the springs and shocks do control the body roll, they don't really "limit" it. That is the job of the sway bars. The springs and shocks control the rate of roll while the sway bars determine how far the body will roll. At least that is the way I understand it.
I'm interested in trading, but I think I'll keep the one I have even after I get a smaller bar. Sway bars are a good and relatively easy tuning tool. Never can have too many (unless you have multiples of the same bar....). Thanks for the offer, though.
