I want a smoother ride!
Now I know I have some suspension mods done and that my expectations should be tailored accordingly, but DAMN! . . . my ride is just harsher than I think it should be.
This is what I have:
Eibach Pro-kit
Tokico HP shocks and struts
Spohn SFC
Spohn LCAs, relocation brackets
Spohn adj panhard bar
Moog front end bushings
Global West steering brace
Pirelli PZero Nero 245/245/17s
This thing just picks up every single bit of the road noise and bumps. The more you push it, the smoother it gets oddly enough, but for just driving around it's pretty damn harsh. I'm going to take it to my guys to see if they can do some sort of "comfort" designed alignment and balance to see if I can get something better. I'm also considering switching tires, although these only have like 7k miles on them, if that.
Are my expectations just too high, or is something not set up right?

tell u right now that its the springs/shock combo....theres not much u can do as far as comfort wise, u didnt state whether or not u had done poly bushings all around except the front moog's and those are rubber right? the only real way would be to get softer springs/shocks, which sucks bc u got 250$springs and 300$ in shocks. just to replace them...wat did u expect from ur upgrades lol u went hipo!
maybe a cheap change could be to replace all the poly u got in the LCA's and panhard rod with new rubber but that wont do much, u gotta change out ur springs for softer lower rate springs

lowered = rougher. Maybe you should take a ride in my camaro if you want to feel/hear bumps in the road. Everything suspension piece is rod ended and the torque arm is rod end mounted to the tunnel as well. Solid motor mounts, etc. There really isn't much you could do except go back to the stock height, but go test drive a new 07 mustang and I was shocked how rough they ride as well.

Buy a Buick... or a new Aveo, just drove one of those for a week while my car was in the body shop. Rode nice.
But seriously, you can't get a smooth ride from a lowered/performance oriented car unless you spend, oh, say, $2000+ for shocks/springs. My car rides like a sled in town, but when you get on the highway or interstate, I wouldn't trade for much of anything.

Yeah I figured as much. I was thinking about trading the tires in for some Nitto Invo's, but I'm not sure. Or maybe try out some adjustable shocks???

doubt changing tires while still keeping the 17 will help much at all. I know it'll ride a lot smoother with 15s on it, my old SS rode like a bull kicking with the 17s on and got much more comfortable with the 15" welds on. Adjustable shocks won't help much since your car is lowered and the amount of suspension travel won't change.

I agree with what was said above. Maybe if you got some of the Moog "IROC" springs and some adjustable shocks and went to 16s (personally, 15s have too much sidewall flex for me) you would see an improvement.
I put my KONIs on full stiff once...that was an interesting experience, to say the least. Ride decently on soft, though.
