Engine: 355 build up
Transmission: TH350
Axle/Gears: 2.73
Ride height

hello guys i just got some KYB struts for my 89 camaro rs and i put them on and the old ones were really bad and then with the new one the ride height now with the KYB is like 1ft high now,, not sure if it is right im sure it is but any pic of yours or information.

new struts should not change ride height at all!
How did you install them?
Did you let the a-arm come down? If so the spring moved in the pocket and you need to re-index it.

i had a jack under the control arm and jacked it up as i was doing it im pretty sure thats how you have to do it right..

Well if the spring didn't unseat itself, which it shouldn't if you had a jack under it while you changed out the strut the something is binding up and holding the car up. Like I said B4 struts have NO effect on ride height
Maybe take some pictures ?

well i took a look today and i saw that the driver side spring in out a little and thanks for the help.
