front of torque arm hitting speed sensor

i installed a moser 9" rear end and a bmr adjustable torque arm in my 92 camaro and the front of the torque arm is rubbing against the speed sensor on the transmission. it has already dented the sensor in just driving around the block one time. should i cut the end off or what? thanks for any info.
