i've heard of people putting one chain on one rear and one chain on the opposite front.. so you have traction for steering.. cause ice is a bitch

makes sense, but if you can afford a fairly new mustang, im sure you can afford 2 pairs of chains!

well since the pic is kinda dark and the car is black i cant tell but he is pulled over to the side of the road. so maybe the rear chain came apart and ripped the quarter off and now he waiting for mommy and daddy to come kill him for being an idiot.

you wouldnt want to run 4 chains.. because if you hit pavement, you will just slide on the chain.. its best 2 chained and 2 alone..

Maybe if the person was driving like a moron they'd slide all over the place otherwise it'll be just a rough ride. Chains should always go on the drive wheels.
