Checked the search with no results. On the Iroc-Z wheels, does the metal valve stems have a rubber or other type of washer on them? I need to pull all 4 and put them in another set of wheels I aquired and if sealing washers are needed, where can I get them? The wheels I bought are NIB and have no stem assy. Thanks, Badman

 

When a tire shop mounts tires on wheels they replace the valve stems with new ones. Nothing special about the Stems on the IROC wheels, had mine replaced numberous times.

 

Actually they are of metal construction and use a locknut to secure them to the wheel. I am trying to keep an OEM look on the car. So, if anyone knows where I can find the replacement washers for them, please reply.

 

Well, you could get a tire inflation system, and paint the metal stems on those gold to match your rims. Other than that.... I've never seen a car with gold ones. Are they designed to throw away? Or be reused over and over?

 

Those are aftermarket metal ones that you can buy at almost any auto parts store. I put lots of sets of those in that are almost exactly the same for people here at the walmart i work for.
