Beginning the rebuild.
So, I've looked at the suspension on my 85 firebird (72k miles if it hasn’t been flipped) and what I saw was pretty bad. I'm planning on rebuilding most of it overtime, and am just looking for suggestions on what would be the high priority items to do first. Also I want to get SFC's, a wonder bar, and strut brace.
The car seems to handle pretty good still currently despite, suspension being rusted to pieces, and caked in grease/dirt/oil. Nipples are shot, as are shocks/struts/universal joints.
How difficult is it to replace bushings with only a jack and no type of lift?
I'm kind of thinking the high priorities would be getting Wonder bar (don't want to develop stress cracks), new shocks/struts/springs, and then bushings. Although I'm not sure if replacing bushings is a good route to go, if I will be replacing components eventually? Your thoughts are appreciated
