Guys,
Just wanted to post up my findings about lowering and pinion angle. 'Bout 3 years ago I installed the Eiback Pro-Kit. With my slightly sagging stock springs, the final measurement was about 1.25" all around. Noticeable for sure, but not as drastic as a lot of you.

Not to place blame on anyone but myself, but several people on this site, and on countless 4th gen sites all say that with "minor" lowering, the change of pinion angle would be so minor that it wouldn't affect driveablity. I even called A MAJOR suspension dealer among our Fbody community, and although they covered themselves "on the record", they said they didn't see a problem with a 1.25" drop and the pinion angle. ....on top of that, I know a LOT of you, and other's in my local club have dropped 2" or more with NO PROBLEMS!!!!

I'm here to tell you that a $10 dollar 1/8" transmission spacer that took 30 minutes to install CURED THE WOBBLE!!!!! No more vibration!!!! I plan on installing an adjustable TA in the near future to fine tune the pinion angle, but all in all, it fixed the problem!!!!

Sure some of you are sayin' "duh, of course pinion angle matters"! Well, now I'm one of YOU!!! ...but like me a few years ago, there are several newbies, and I just want to make sure they know how important that pinion angle is, and how ANY lowering can affect it!!!!

...so remember kids, knowing is half the battle.

Glad to see you found a cheap solution. Unfortunately for me it was a bit more expensive and involved but well worth it.
