Car: 1985 Camaro/89 Merkur XR4Ti
Engine: 5.0 305 LG4/2.3 Turbo (180hp/205tq)
Transmission: TH700R4 with Shift Improver Kit/T-9
Axle/Gears: 3.42LT1 Rear/3.64
Bushings....
Well I have soe bushings that am replacing...well trying too. Ive nevr had a harder car to work on.... Just lookig for advice on easy ways to replace em. I am having alot of trouble with the panhard bar bushings....had to use a breaker bar with a jack handle attached to it to get enough leverage to break the bolt free....This car is seeming to be more and more troublesome.
Any help would be appreciated.

old bolts are all going to be like that. soak them in a good penetrating oil and they should be a little easier. dont be surprised if every bolt you take out is like that, and you may break a few as well. Good Luck!

I like to start hitting old rusty bolts a day or two before the work happens. Having a breaker bar is a real help, sometimes you are better off breaking the old bolts anyway they are so rusty they should not be reused anyway. I am a big fan of pb blaster get a can if you do not have any. Very inportant tool on rusty old cars.

Once you get the rusty bolts out, the bushings are easy, especially the panhard.
LCA's are a bit harder.
GM has those panhard bolts on the shelf, along with the all metal locking nuts. I'd buy the nuts elsewhere though, nothing special about them, other than being very expensive. The bolts however are stepped down, so you pretty much need them from GM.
