Measure your Sway Bar. You'll either have the 34mm or 36mm front sway Bar. Just take your measurement and go to one of the Suspension websites and find your Sway Bar Bushings there via your measurement.
Some say stick with the Rubber (Factory) because they don't break done as fast as POLY.
I have POLY, had then on for about a year now. No problems so far. I also don't drive my car as a daily driver either.

I'm not disagreeing with you but there were some IROC's that left the factory with the 36mm sway bars.
If you have the right RPO code, your car came with a 36mm front sway bar. There are some IROC's, RS's & Z28's that came with the bigger Sway Bar. NOT MANY THOUGH

gscz28....Poly mounts is probably your best bet. Measure the swaybar and then go to your local parts house and they should have Energy Suspension or some other aftermarket poly bushings. I know the Autozones and O'Reillys here carry ES Bushings.
Thanks, I know I am a little off topic on this tread but I was thinking about upgrading both the front and rear sway bars on my 91 RS and I'm not sure what size to go for or for what reason I should choose one over the other. My car is essentially stock except for the front brace from Sponn I added last year and the Ronal r15s and P275/17/ZR40s. I assume th 36 mm bar will just be stiffer. Also who makes the best replacment?
Thanks Rezz

This car is essentially a show car. I bought it in new in 91, It has under 10000 original km. I decided to start to dress it a little last summer. The Ronals were a great addition in my opinion. But I would like to do a few more things. I'm thinking about the following but need some guidance:
1) New Rotors and Calipers up front. I'd like to go to the the 1LE package for the front but not sure who to get the product from or who provides the best upgrade. Also, definitely want to get some stainless or plated rotors.
2) Thinking about upgrading the rear differential to an SLP after market posi. Not to sure about which way to go. Thinking about 3.45 ratio, 3.73 might be to harry for my cruiser.
Im open for suggestions!
Thanks Rezz

1.) Thanks to some members who are on a constant voyage for upgrading and swaping parts on our cars inexpensivley. you have more options than the 1LE brakes. you can also do the C4 brakes, and even C5 brakes. Go to the Brake board and look around.
2) 3.73's might be much for a stock intake TPI, some have claimed they ran better with 3.42's. but thats an opinion thing. 3.73's arent too steep. check out the transmission and drive train forum.
If you have a 34mm bar right now and you are primarily using it for a show car, I would just take it off get some good bushings and get is painted or powdercoated. and you will still be spending way less money than a new 36mm bar which will not be needed unless you are hitting the twistys hard.

My orgnial front sway was 28mm, the car did not come with a rear sway bar.
FYI, Use 23mm rear sway bar with the 34mm hollow front bar.
Use 25mm rear sway bar with the 36mm hollow front bar.

Anyway my car has SFCs, STB, WonderBar, and Spohn's LCAs and Trackbar. I took some very tight coners in excess of 50 mph this past weekend. Before adding the new sway bars on this same road, I had to brake and slow down going into each curve. NO LIFTING OF REAR WHEELS.
